The Noosa EV Expo and Street Fest will return on June 18. The EV Expo partners Noosa Council and the Noosa Junction Business Association proudly support Zero Emissions Noosa Inc. in reclaiming Sunshine Beach Road for the biggest and finest EV Expo ever!
The Expo
The first Noosa EV Expo took place in 2018 as a project of Zero Emissions Noosa, a non-profit organisation dedicated to achieving zero carbon community emissions in Noosa by 2026. In 2019, a more significant event with a speaker’s program followed.
After a temporary hiatus due to COVID in 2020, the 2021 expo was back better than ever drawing an enormous turnout, demonstrating the high level of community interest in electric transportation.
The expo returned in 2022 with a more noteworthy event on Sunshine Beach Road at Noosa Junction, closed to traffic for the day. It was the best yet, with over 60 exhibitors and thousands of guests.
Indeed, the Noosa EV Expo has cemented its place on the southeast Queensland sustainable transportation map. Now, the fifth edition is just around the corner.
The 2023 Edition
The 2023 Noosa EV Expo and Street Fest is a FREE community event that introduces e-vehicles and how they can provide more sustainable transportation options.
The expo will feature an intriguing mix of exhibitors, footpath cafes, and safe off-road electric bike and scooter trail rides. Sunshine Beach Road cafes and businesses in Noosa Junction will join exhibitors and visitors to celebrate the exciting breakthroughs in sustainable transportation choices.
Test Drives and Forums
There will also be test drives and forums. Why not join The Good Car Co Test Drives & Forum on June 19 at The J in Noosa Junction?
The J car park will host test drives from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the EV Forum will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm. Everyone is welcome, but test drive reservations and RSVPs for the EV Forum are required because seats are limited.
The Good Car Company is working to make electric vehicles more accessible and affordable. If you want to learn more, the EV Forum can update your knowledge base regarding owning and driving an electric vehicle. It will assist you in making an educated decision when the time comes to transition to an electric car.
In addition, the team can answer any EV-related questions, including charging, range, driving style, road trips, EV batteries, and servicing and maintenance.
How To Get There
Sunshine Beach Road in Noosa Junction will be blocked from 6:30 am to 4 pm for the event. Taxis and all vehicles will need to redirect during the road closure. It might be a good idea to ride Noosa’s free buses, notably lines 626, 627, 628, 629, and 632, to escape traffic congestion or simply book your stay at Noosa Tropicana and enjoy the convenience of staying in Noosa Sound.
