Noosa Festival of Surfing
Don’t miss the Noosa Festival of Surfing 2019 from March 2 – 10 on our iconic beach.
The Noosa Malibu Club in collaboration with World Surf League brings to you the Noosa Festival of Surfing.
Surfers of all ages and backgrounds from all around the world will come together to compete across numerous events. From under 15 to over 65, everyone, men and women, boys and girls, is welcome to take part in this annual celebration of surfing.
We launch the 2019 WSL Longboard Tour as some of the world's best longboarders surf First Point in the WSL Noosa Longboard open from 7-10 March, part of the Festival of Surfing.
There's also surf music, exhibitions, parties and events on the sand at First Point and around town.
Celebrating our special natural surroundings and environment, the festival is partnering with Plastic Free Noosa to make this a sustainable, plastic-free event to help conserve the local region and ocean. This environmental-friendly event seeks to raise awareness regarding nature conservation and preservation.
There is something for everyone whether you are a surfer or a non-surfer. Competitors and spectators alike will find this event enjoyable nonetheless. Not to mention, the dog-surfing will return with the VetShopAustralia.com.au Surfing Dog Championships. Don't miss this unique and exciting contest.
Most events are free for everyone, but the surfing competition, as well as a few exclusive games, do have an entry fee.

Summer Swim 2019
Enjoy the Noosa Summer Swim 2019 from February 2 – 3, 2019 at Noosa Main Beach, Noosa Heads.
The Noosa Summer Swim is an exciting weekend of sun, sand and surf. The event will be held on our world famous main beach and there's a choice of ocean swim distances for all athletic skills.
The young ones won’t miss out either, with the exciting junior events, as well as watching the pro’s in the the 5km Noosa Grand Prix where experienced swimmers push themselves to the limit as they swim next to Olympic swimmers.

Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival
Don't miss the Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival on February 16, 2019, at Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny.
Spicers Tamarind Retreat is thrilled to be hosting for the second year in a row the Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival. Come and enjoy cooking demonstrations while indulging in sumptuous Asian food amidst the beautiful rainforest of Spicers Tamarind Retreat. Guests will enjoy five tasty Asian dishes and two complementing beverages.
Enjoy live entertainment all afternoon and a Riesling Masterclass with Spicers own sommelier Peter Marchant. Treat yourself to a picnic and enjoy the sunshine while enjoying the fantastic tastes of Asia. Due to the specifics of this event, unfortunately, dietary requirements cannot be catered for.
Noosa Junction Twilight Markets
If you’ve been searching for Noosa Resorts for families you’ll love this this regular local event. Held on the third Friday of every month, the whole family will enjoy the vibrant market atmosphere of Arcadia Street, including kids activities and entertainment.
From 5-9pm as the sun goes down and the breeze gets a little cooler, you can peruse the Artisan stalls at your leisure. When you’ve worked up enough of an appetite on your wanders, choose from a range of mouthwatering offerings at the food stalls.
You’ll love the live music, and Dad can occupy the kids while Mum stops in to the pop up bar with happy hour prices all night for a well earned beverage. Our resort provides a selection of elegantly decorated apartments. We have one bedroom apartments that are suited for corporate travellers and solo travellers. These rooms are on the ground floor and mid-level. The rooms provide a great view of the resort's tropical garden. You can also see the pool from the balcony. The apartments are stylishly designed for your comfort.
Feel relaxed and enjoy an enervating weekend at our Noosa holiday accommodation. Our apartments feature air conditioning in the living room, ceiling fans, Austar, and flat screen television sets in the living area and the master bedroom. Cook breakfast in the full-size kitchen with modern cooking appliance. Wash your laundry with the washing machine and dryer which are also set up. Cook warm and tasty meals in the kitchen.
The two bedroom apartments are well-suited for four adults. Our two bedroom holiday apartments are the perfect choice for families or friends. Just like similar to our one-bedroom option, this unit is fully functional and equipped with kitchen and living room appliances. Also, it features an ensuite off the main bedroom and additional bathroom to service the second bedroom. Take in the beautiful views from the private balcony.
The three bedroom apartments can accommodate six guests. Like the other apartments, it offers a lot of modern amenities. Watch television in the living area. There are 12 channels of Foxtel and flat screen television in the living area and master bedroom. For some late night cooking, there's a full kitchen with modern cooking appliances as well as a laundry with washing machine and dryer.
