Tree Place
The Tree Place is an exhibition which has its roots when an ancient Eucalyptus tree fell and was saved from wood chipping. The Tree Place also features artist talks and workshops. The fallen tree became an inspiration for this community project that has been ongoing since September 2015.
The artists’ works include traditional woodwork, plant divination, traditional Japanese and experimental textiles, sculptural jewelry and ceramics. 26 artists will be joined by two ancient trees in the final exhibition.

Public artist talks: The Seed of Conversation will be on December 8, Saturday. The workshops will be on January 11, 15, 17, 18, and 19.
The exhibition will be held on 7 December with guest speaker Jandamarra Cadd. The exhibition runs from 8 December to 27 January 2019.

New Year’s Eve in Noosa 2018
Enjoy New Year’s Eve in Noosa on 31 December 2018 at Noosa Main Beach and Noosa Marina. This public event is free.
Noosa lights up with a dazzling fireworks display from Main Beach to Noosa Marina on the Noosa River. Bring in the new year with family and friends and celebrate New Year’s Eve.
Noosa Main Beach will be ablaze with two spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks at 9pm and midnight. The fireworks will be launched from the Groyne area.
Get the best seats in the house and book a Noosa beachfront restaurant. Enjoy the show.
There will also be fireworks at Noosa Marina, Parkyn Court, overlooking the beautiful Noosa Marina at 9pm and midnight.
Entrance is free. Be entertained with live music from Sand Flys. Enjoy live music Noosa and have a blast.
Alice in Wonderland
Save the dates and catch Alice in Wonderland on Saturdays January 5, 12, and 19 and Sundays January 6, 13 and 20.
See Alice in Wonderland as you’ve never seen it before in pantomime.
Lewis Carroll’s whimsical Wonderland will be performed as an engaging panto set. You’ll see many of the characters you know and love such as the White Rabbit, Tweedle Dum & Tweedle Dee, the King & Queen of Hearts, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat and many more.
Alice falls asleep after collecting strawberries. She wakes up and meets the White Rabbit who is in a hurry. She follows him down a rabbit hole and enters a world unlike any other, Wonderland. There she goes on the adventure of a lifetime.
The Knave of Spade wants to marry Princess Ruby of Heats and rule wonderland. But first he has to get a golden heart made by the Wizard of Muddleup Wood, in his magic goldmine.
The only way to save Wonderland is for Alice and her friends to get their hands on another golden heart from the Wizard and place it in the Grand shield of Wonderland. Along the way, Alice and her mother join the Mad Hatter and March Hare for an incredibly mad tea-party.

There’s also Noosa National Park which is close to our resort. The national park is a great place to go on hikes and commune with nature. It also has hidden beaches and beautiful natural surroundings. Lay out a blanket and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Kick back and relax.
