THE BEACH PARTY - MAIN BEACH NOOSA

Noosa’s foreshore will light up like never before! The entertainment starts at sunset with DJ sets and the party anthem builds up to New Year as Laguna Bay explodes in its annual midnight fire and light show. Enjoy Corona, cocktails and cuisine in a magical setting and experience Noosa’s final golden sunset for 2018 with your feet in the sand. The line-up features Brooke Evers, The Reverend Jackson, Hollywould, Casual Connction, Martini Club and House of Vibes.

THE WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL
27 DECEMBER 2018 - 1 JANUARY 2019

The Woodford Folk Festival is an event of international standing, it’s held annually over six days and six nights from Dec 27th through to January 1st.
More than 2000 performers and 438 events are programmed featuring local, national and international guests. The festival programme features concerts, dances, street theatre, writers’ panels, film festival, comedy sessions, acoustic jams, social dialogue and debate, folk medicine, an entire children’s festival, an environmental programme featuring talks, debates and films, art and craft workshops, circus performances and workshops, late night cabarets, parades and special events including a spectacular fire event.

THE ROGUE TOAD ON THE NOOSA FERRY 2019
26 - 27 JANUARY 2019

The Rogue Toad is back, teaming up with Noosa Ferry for four performances of this award-winning comedy set on the Noosa River.
Winner of this year's Anywhere Theatre Festival, The Rogue Toad tells the story of five anthropomorphic friends who set out on an adventure and find prejudice and love along the way.
Board the Noosa Ferry at Noosa Marina, Tewantin and enjoy the scenery as you cruise the river, picking up characters for The Rogue Toad along the way, including a family of friendly blue tongues.

PANTOMIME - ALICE IN WONDERLAND
5 - 20 JANUARY 2019

Alice in Wonderland, a delightful panto set in Lewis Carroll’s fantastical Wonderland and featuring many of the well-known characters, such as the White Rabbit, Tweedle Dum & Tweedle Dee, the King & Queen of Hearts, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat and more. Alice is tired from collecting strawberries and falls ‘asleep’ underneath a tree. When she wakes, she spots the White Rabbit and follows him down a rabbit hole into Wonderland. There, the Knave of Spades has designs on marrying Princess Ruby of Hearts and ruling Wonderland, but first he must get his hands on a golden heart made by the Wizard of Muddleup Wood, in his magic goldmine.
Dates: Saturday at 11am and 2pm – January 5,12, 19
Sunday at 1pm and 4pm – January 6,13, 20

GINGER FLOWER & FOOD FESTIVAL
18 - 20 JANUARY 2019

The Ginger Factory’s iconic Ginger Flower and Food Festival is back again and promises to delight the senses with three spectacular days of food, flowers and entertainment for all. The festival promises to delight the senses with three spectacular days of food, flowers and entertainment celebrating the best of the Sunshine Coast region and the 75-year history of Buderim Ginger. 
A stunning array of over 3000 plants will be available for sale to festival goers.
Lifestyle and foodie presentations, as well as cooking demonstrations from renowned chefs including Matt Golinski, Peter Wolfe and Josh Smallwood will run across the three days. 
The 2019 Ginger Flower & Food Festival is a free event the whole family will enjoy. Don’t miss it!
