Formerly known as the Australian Body Art Carnivale, the Australian Body Art Festival celebrates the theme, Wonderland, this year! It is first and foremost a celebration of the passionate body painting industry.

For the first time this year, the Cooroy Chamber of Commerce will run the event. The goal of the event is to be eclectic and inventive at the same time. Because of this, it is no surprise that the Australian Body Art Festival has a history as interesting as the art that it produces.

There are many competitions in the festival to look out for – brush and sponge, airbrush, special effects, face painting, wearable art and photography.

The Australian Body Art Festival will be on 8-9 April 2017 at Cooroy.

It’s bound to be a different artistic experience that you’ll surely remember!
