Get ready to enjoy a weekend soaking up in the sun and water at the Noosa Summer Swim.

The Noosa Summer Swim is all about having fun in the water with its surfing and swimming activities that are good for those who like joining together fun with an active lifestyle. There’s plenty to do on 11 and 12 February 2017 at the Noosa Summer Swim. It will be held at Noosa Heads which are a part of Noosa National Park’s 4,000-hectare expanse.

You may get to swim alongside Olympian Michael Klim and other special guests during this two-day event. There are a variety of races you can participate in – 1 kilometre, 2 kilometre and 3 kilometre, and the new 5 kilometre Noosa Grand Prix Marathon distance. There is also a Junior Giants Series for kids from ages 8 to 16 years old that consist of a 300m dash and a 1kilometre swim.

The competition will be held in waves and you can get to choose who you can start alongside – be it your training partner or even World Series Swims Ambassador Michael Klim himself!

The first day, 11 February, is for the Long Course events which range from a 1 kilometre swim to 3 kilometre swim. The next day is for the Noosa Grand Prix Marathon distance swim and a multi-lap course. And if you’re up for the challenge, prizes await the winners!

For those who are into more relaxed swims, there is also a 1.5 kilometre Social Swim.
